Book a speaker for your students or for your church group.
Simon Danes, co-author of Mark: A Gospel for Today and Today's Issues and Christian Beliefs, would be very pleased to come and lead a session or sessions for you. In schools, this could be for RS GCSE, RS A Level, Sixth Form General RE or General Studies; for church or other groups: Simon specialises in ethics and in Biblical studies.
Simon's been in senior management in three schools and is a skilled and entertaining speaker, well used to addressing large (and small!) groups of students. He's previously been a deputy head of a large sixth form and a head of RE in two schools. And he's done adult education as well.
He's successfully addressed sixth form societies and General Studies / General RE sessions and he usually goes down very well with students. He can speak on many topics and would be happy to discuss your requirements. However, he's most able to speak on the sort of topics raised in Mark: A Gospel forToday, Today's Issues and Christian Beliefs and Philosophy of Religion forToday.
So, if your students would like a change, if you'd like someone entertaining and interesting to lead a sixth form or GCSE session, or to talk to sixth formers in General Studies or an academic society (including G and T societies - Simon's run G and T programmes in two schools), please get in touch. We're sure we can arrange something.
